After an intensive 18-month reconstruction period, the Panama railroad was open for business again. This historic moment was officially celebrated with a pleasant ceremony and luxurious train ride for the delight of our distinguished guests. The President of Panama, Her Excellency, Mrs. Mireya Moscoso, honored us with her presence, as well as other international and national invitees. The ceremony was followed by an elegant train ride across the Isthmus.
